Benchmark against the top rankers
Allen Career Institute's test series — especially its SCORE papers — is one of the most widely used benchmarks for JEE Main and Advanced. This guide explains how the Enthusiast, Leader, LN Leader and SCORE tests are structured, who each is for, how to attempt and analyse them, and how to join officially.

Class 12 students
Leader Course Tests (Droppers)
The dropper-batch test structure, with faster syllabus coverage and harder question patterns across three phases.
Droppers
LN Leader Tests (JEE Main)
Papers built purely on the JEE Main pattern, where speed and accuracy across the full paper matter more than depth on any single question.
JEE Main focus
Allen Online Test Series
Full-length mocks on the current JEE Main and Advanced pattern, open to non-classroom students through Allen's online registration.
Anyone building exam stamina
SCORE I, SCORE II & SCORE Advanced
The final-phase revision programme. SCORE I is pitched near real JEE difficulty, SCORE II rises to multi-concept problems, and SCORE Advanced (and the STAR tier) are deliberately harder than JEE Advanced.
Last 3–4 months, syllabus complete
How to Take the Allen Test Series Officially
Allen test papers are copyrighted and available only to Allen students and registered candidates. JEE Archive does not host or share copies of them. The legitimate routes are:
- Allen classroom courses — Enthusiast, Leader and SCORE tests are part of the classroom programmes.
- Allen online test series — open registration for non-classroom students. See allen.in.
- Free practice — Allen's official YouTube channel publishes paper discussions and solutions.
Free and Alternative Mock Tests
- Previous year papers: real JEE Main and Advanced papers are the most accurate mocks you can take — see the PYQ section.
- Other test series: MathonGo for NTA-accurate Main mocks, FIITJEE AITS for tough Advanced-style physics, and PW.
- Printed mock-test books — OMR-based mock books are a cheap way to practise full papers on paper.
Attempt Strategy
- Simulate the exam: Sit at a desk with no phone. For Advanced, write Paper 1 from 9–12 and Paper 2 from 2:30–5:30.
- Learn to skip: In SCORE Advanced, 40% can mean a strong rank. Skip questions that look like 10-minute traps.
- Analyse the next day: Re-solve wrong and unattempted questions before looking at the key, and log mistakes by type.
Target Audience: Main-level tests suit every serious aspirant. SCORE Advanced is only worth attempting once you consistently score 60%+ in chapter-wise practice.
Frequently Asked Questions about Allen Test Series
Can I download Allen test series papers for free?
No. Allen test papers, including SCORE, are copyrighted by ALLEN Career Institute and are available only to enrolled students and registered test-series candidates. JEE Archive does not host or link to copies. To take them, join an Allen course or register for the Allen online test series.
Is the Allen Test Series harder than the actual JEE?
Often, yes — especially the SCORE Advanced papers, which are deliberately set above JEE Advanced level to build resilience and problem-solving stamina.
What is the difference between Leader and Enthusiast?
Enthusiast is for students moving into Class 12 (Class 12 syllabus first, then Class 11 revision). Leader is for droppers, covering Class 11 and 12 together at a faster pace.
Should I attempt SCORE papers if my syllabus isn't complete?
No. SCORE papers are intensive, multi-concept full or major part-syllabus tests meant for final revision. Finish chapter-wise practice first.
How should I analyse a mock test?
Spend about as long analysing as you spent writing the test. Sort every mistake into conceptual gaps, calculation errors and time-management issues, then re-solve the wrong and skipped questions before looking at solutions.
What can I use if I am not taking the Allen test series?
Full JEE Main and Advanced previous year papers are the best free mocks. You can also use other institutes' test series such as MathonGo, FIITJEE AITS or PW, and printed mock-test books.
