Best Test Series for JEE 2027: Main & Advanced Compared
Last Updated: October 2026 · Prices checked on each provider's website on 24 October 2026
There is no single best JEE test series: it depends on your target. For JEE Main, MathonGo's Quizrr series is closest to the real NTA paper and costs ₹6,000. For JEE Advanced, Allen's Leader series gives tougher papers and a large all-India comparison. On a budget, Motion's AITS costs ₹999, and the free option most students under-use is NTA's own past papers, all 2026 shifts of which are on this site.

How to choose a JEE test series
Match the target exam. JEE Main is a 3-hour, 75-question computer test with +4/−1 marking in both sections. JEE Advanced is two papers with changing question types and partial marking. A Main-only series won't prepare you for Advanced papers, and Advanced-heavy series are overkill for Main-only aspirants.
Difficulty close to the real exam. Papers much harder than JEE hurt confidence and mislead your percentile estimate; papers much easier give false comfort. Compare a sample test with an official 2026 JEE Main paper before you buy.
Real exam interface. For JEE Main, practise on an NTA-style screen: question palette, mark-for-review, numerical keypad.
Analysis, not just a score. Look for chapter-wise accuracy, time per question and a mistakes list you can revisit. A rank among many test takers is a bonus.
Schedule you can follow. Fixed-date all-India tests keep you disciplined; flexible tests suit droppers and students in school.
When to start, and how many mocks
Take part-syllabus tests while you study each unit. Begin full-syllabus mocks when about 70–80% of the syllabus is done, usually from October–November for the January attempt. In the last two to three months, take two to three full mocks a week. Most students who improve do 25–40 full mocks in a season, including every recent official paper, and analyse each one.
A caution before paying a large fee
In January 2025, many FIITJEE centres shut suddenly and the Enforcement Directorate later investigated unpaid advance fees, as reported by Careers360 and Business Standard. Whichever institute you choose, prefer online series you can start immediately, pay only for the current year, and check recent reviews.

How we compared these test series
We read each provider's own 2027 test-series page on 24 October 2026 for prices, test counts and modes, and compared the format with NTA's JEE Main 2026 information bulletin and the official 2026 papers. Frequently Asked Questions about JEE Test Series
Which test series is best for JEE Main 2027?
For JEE Main, MathonGo's Quizrr test series is closest to the actual NTA paper in pattern and difficulty and costs ₹6,000. Allen's Achiever Absolute online series (₹7,000) is a good alternative with a large all-India comparison.
Which test series is best for JEE Advanced?
Allen's Leader series and MathonGo's JEE Main + Advanced package both include full JEE Advanced Paper 1 and Paper 2 mocks. Above all, solve the official JEE Advanced papers from previous years under timed conditions.
MathonGo or Allen test series: which is better?
MathonGo (Quizrr) is closer to JEE Main difficulty and cheaper online. Allen's papers are often tougher and its test-taker base is larger, which helps if you are also targeting JEE Advanced.
Is there a free test series for JEE?
Yes. NTA's National Test Abhyas app is free and official. The best free mocks are the real past papers: all 19 JEE Main 2026 shifts and the JEE Advanced papers are on this site with official answer keys.
When should I start a JEE test series?
Start part-syllabus tests while you study, and full-syllabus mocks once about 70–80% of the syllabus is done. In the last two to three months before the exam, take two to three full mocks a week and spend as long analysing each as taking it.
How many mock tests are enough for JEE Main?
Most students do well with 25–40 full mocks, including all recent official papers, analysed properly. Taking more tests without analysing mistakes rarely improves percentile.
