JEE Main 2026 January 23 Shift 1 was held on 23 January 2026, 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, in Session 1 (January). It had 75 questions for 300 marks: 25 each in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, with +4 for a correct answer and −1 for a wrong one.
